Patient: “Which is better, electric toothbrush or regular toothbrush?”
or
Patient: “Which do you recommend, electric toothbrush or regular toothbrush?”
という意味で、”which do you recommen?”
Doctor or hygienist: “Electric toothbrushes are easier to use. You just have to place it at an angle at the gum line, move it along your arch, and it’ll do the work.”
Doctor or hygienist: “Another good thing is it has a timer so it’ll tell you how long you are supposed to brush.”
Patient: “How often should I change my toothbrush?”
Doctor or hygienist: “Every 3 months. If the bristles widens earlier than that, you are brushing with too much pressure.”
Patient: “What are the advantages of regular/manual toothbrush?”
Doctor or hygienist: “Well, it’s not that expensive, and it’s easy to carry around. If you have the correct and proper toothbrushing technique and if you spend at least 2 minutes for brushing, you can still remove plaque efficiently. That’s what studies show. But it’s just more work.”
